E-MAG’s Service/Repair Option

E-MAG enjoys a reputation for exceptional customer care and product support far beyond the official one-year warranty term.  It’s been an essential ingredient of our success.  Serial numbers are now approaching 8,100 and our earliest units are nearing the fourteen-year mark.  When equipment finally needs service, we offer a “Flat Fee Check-Up” for 113 and 114 series ignitions.

Flat Fee Check-Up – $375

  • Easy to understand.  Covers all mechanical wear parts that are required  – not an automatic replacement of all parts.  If you want complete mechanical replacement, see Prop Strike Service below.
  • Easy to budget.
  • Easy to compare/contrast with magneto  service fees

Prop Strike Service – $445

  • Replacement of all mechanical parts regardless of arrival condition.

What’s covered:

  • Arrival status – external inspection and live bench check.
  • Tear-down and internal inspection.
  • Replacement of any/all needed parts including labor.
  • Update firmware (as permitted by circuit board)
  • Reassemble and live bench check – just like we do with newly manufactured equipment.

What’s not covered:
